Our trained school dogs are an integral part of our school community. They regularly accompany their owners to class. Each school dog has its own unique personality and brings calm and joy to the school day.

The use of a school dog can:

• demonstrably help reduce stress.

• foster a positive and motivating learning atmosphere.

• strengthen students' self-confidence.

Our students learn to see dogs as independent beings. They learn how to read their body language and how to interact with them respectfully and appropriately. Therefore, we have established rules for school dogs. Successful interactions with a school dog can become an important resource: A dog is present without prejudice. This can help children build trust, concentrate better, and take on new learning challenges.
