Our 5th and 6th grade classes are located at Herrnstraße 21.

The curriculum in these classes is based on the "Lehrplan Plus" (Curriculum Plus) of the middle school. The special educational needs of the children in the area of ​​learning (Lehrplan Plus of the special education school) are taken into account. The children do not receive grades. Instead, there are individual comments describing each student's learning progress.

Our goal is to foster a love of school and motivation to learn. Through individual progress, students gain self-confidence and believe in their ability to achieve success. With a view to career orientation in grades 7-9, we already emphasize important work ethic qualities such as punctuality, independence, teamwork, and reliability.

During consultations, we discuss with parents which school is best suited for their child after 6th grade. Several options are available:

• Instruction and career orientation at our School (SFZ)
• Instruction at the middle school after a trial period at the beginning of 7th grade
• Instruction at a special education center with a different focus
