Grades 7 - 9
Our classes SDW 7, SDW 8, and SDW 9 are located at Herrnstraße 21.
The curriculum in these classes is based on the “Lehrplan Plus” while taking into account the specific learning needs of our students.
In 7th grade, students do not receive grades. Instead, they receive individual comments describing their learning progress.
In 8th and 9th grade, students receive grades. This is important for preparing for final exams and career choices.
As part of career orientation in grades 7 - 9, our students discover their own interests and strengths. Through projects, company visits, and internships, they explore different activities and career fields.
Every Tuesday, 8th and 9th grade students work in one of the student-run companies. Students apply for these positions, participate in interviews, receive an employment contract, and at the end of the school year, a work certificate.
Our graduates from the SDW class receive
Graduation Certificate (Abschluss im Bildungsgang Lernen, meaning: special education)
Graduation Certificate (Abschluss der Mittelschule, meaning: secondary school leaving certificate)
Both final exams have a reduced theory component. The practical exam counts double.
